My Experience

Registered with Ofsted in January '21 I have my own two children (6 and 2) and have previously worked with children teaching and providing experieces in falconry, from birth til adulthood. I have three families in attendance currently and would love to fill the rest of my spaces with other families who need nurturing childcare too.

As an Ofsted registered childminder I follow the Early Years Statutory Framework, which is the same framework nursery's follow; so you know your child's learning and development is just as important to me as it is to a nursery, with the added benefit of a smaller group setting, meaning your child can have more one to one care, and a consistent key person. Children thrive when they form secure relationships with their caregivers and so I provide settling in sessions to help children become familiar with myself and my setting.

I attend Shustoke Stay-and-Play during the week, visit other childminders, and plan regular activities to help children within my care have fun and learn through play, whilst also focusing on childrens unique interests and abilties to deliver 'in the moment' learning opportunities.

Down the road in one direction is the village park, a daily stop-off for us, particularly after-school; and in the other direction are the local woods, rich with opportunity and fun. My craft cupboard is overflowing, and there will always be glue and glitter around somewhere as we have a go at creating and making Father's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas, Easter, you name it (!), decorations, cards and knick-knacks! I have books, dress-up, cooking/baking resources, cuddly's, cars, dolls and everything in between to ensure your child takes part in a wide variety of activities each and every day they attend.

My Availability

Available 7am-5.30pm Monday-Friday.
Top-up available until 6pm, please discuss with me if this is something you require.

My Fees

• Childminding from £5.00 per hour

£5 per hour inclusive of breakfast, lunch and snacks, all outings and resources.
£10 per afterschool session including pick-up from Arley Primary School, afternoon snack and collection anytime up until 5.30pm (Optional top-up available).
I offer a meet and greet session and settling in sessions so children feel comfortable
