I'm a 26-year-old female from Canada and I recently graduated with my Masters of Science in Physiotherapy. Looking to earn some extra money to pay off my student loan back home. I'll be starting work full time in a hospital in a few weeks but will be free full time until then. Afterwards, I will be free evenings and weekends.
My Experience
I was a babysitter in Canada from ages 13 to 17, I worked at an overnight summer camp for children with special needs in 2017 and I have experience working as a respite worker in Canada. As a respite worker, I worked with two different young boys with cerebral palsy, for periods of full-time and part-time. I also worked at a daycare in the summer of 2020 with children ages 5 to 9.
Through working with individuals with special needs I have experience administering certain medications, providing personal care, manual handling with hoists and wheelchair transfers. I have also worked with children with autism, epilepsy, global developmental delay, fetal alcohol syndrome, spina bifida and more.
My Qualifications
Qualifications throughout my master's degree:
• First aid certified and emergency life support through the British Heart Foundation in 2018
• Infection control
• Equality and diversity
• Manual handling
Through previous work experience:
• Disability awareness
• Autism awareness

My Availability
