About Me
My name is Jacinta and I am 26 years old. I have always enjoyed spending time with children and have done this within different settings. I love to travel and have incorporated volunteer work within schools and orphanages whilst on some of my travels. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I like to keep active and to go walking and to the gym. One of my favourite things to do is go to theatres to see musicals and ballets.
I am expecting my first child next March and would still be looking at doing some babysitting and childcare throughout the year to help with money whilst on maternity leave.
My Experience
During my time at school and college I did work experience placements within primary schools and nurseries. When I went to Egypt I did work experience in a primary school for 2 weeks. I also visited Thailand for a month in 2019 where I volunteered in a primary school and taught English lessons and did activities with the children. Also volunteered in an orphanage whilst in Thailand. I am currently working in a children’s residential home, where I care for children with special needs and complex needs, the ages range from 7-15.
