About Me
I am a very confident, patient, caring and kind person. As well as this I am also extremely organised and punctual. As part of my psychology studies, we explored the development and behaviour of children from birth, so I have an in-depth understanding of how to care for and support children in a way that is most beneficial for their development. I am an extremely keen cook who makes a variety of different meals for my family every day and was once on Junior MasterChef. I also have lots of experience in housekeeping for example in my family home as I've always taken on responsibility for helping around the house in every way possible. I have received offers to study a degree in paediatric nursing, as working with children is something I hope to do for my whole career. I've done lots of work experience in this department including the NHS programme for aspiring nurses. I have a Sports leadership level 3 award so am very active and love organising sports activities for children. I’m also fully vaccinated against covid-19.
My Experience
For 5 years I've been running after-school dance classes for children from the ages of 1-10 and have received extremely positive feedback from both students and parents throughout. I have been baby-sitting children in my area since I was 13 due to my natural affinity for looking after children. I have nannied for a family of two children for three years now, which started when the children were new-born and 18 months and have been with me until the ages of 3 and 4. I also have a little sister and hide extended family so from the age of 5 have had lots of experience looking after small children and have been the designated babysitter!
