Babysitter needed in Blackpool!

We are a family of 3 and require a weekly babysitter, (and we would like to discuss additional hours dependant on availability/our needs) who is open, gentle natured, reliable and has some experience with special needs in particular ASD.

An enthusiastic and patient, fun loving personality is what we are looking for because this will strengthen your bond with our child (who, btw is full of character, fun and will no doubt win your heart over if you are a good match for each other). She has ASD and ADHD so some understanding of, and an interest in these conditions is important. She enjoys, and thrives in the company of younger adults in particular (even over children of her own age).

We require someone who has an up to date Enhanced DBS.

A natural affinity and an ability to attune to the needs of children as individuals is more important to us than a CV full of an extensive record of childcare jobs and qualifications. Having said that, relevant experience (of any kind) is important, and key.

The most essential requirement for this job requires caring for our little girl from 5.30pm until 10pm which is due to commitments we need to attend to in person and which we need to attend to on a minimum basis of once a week. Therefore your work ethic around reliability and commitment to each family you work with is a high priority for the role. We have other outside commitments but our childcare requirements around these would be more flexible depending on factors such as availability etc.
