I love working/looking after children as it really is fulfilling to me and watching them grow and flourish is such an out of this world experience that I would love to be a part of. I can keep records on how your child is doing and how they are developing etc. I would love to be someone whom you can trust and know that I will not let you down. I will always give your child/children a lot of attention and love and make sure their happiness is always a priority.
I have my drivers license and would prefer to stay more local but can travel a little if need be.
My Experience
I have had a lot of experience with children in general, I grew up around a childminder myself so I had a passion for helping and looking after other children from a young age. I have looked after a family friends daughter a few times and had work experience in a playgroup for about 6-7 months and have worked in two nurseries, one was short term and the second is the one I’m in now.
I’ve worked in this nursery for about 3 years now and have loved it but I would like to replace my job now as there have been a lot of changes within the nursery and would like a stable and more reliable job.
I have my NVQ Level 2 in childcare and I have worked with all ages ranging from 2 1/2 months to 4-5 years old. I mainly work with the younger children, i.e. the babies and toddlers but have had a fair amount of experience with the older children too.
I have also kept records and taken observations of the children as I am a key worker at the moment and we upload the pictures or videos to an app called tapestry where the parents can see their child develop and see how much fun they’re having at nursery.
I would prefer not to cook but can give them a meal if it’s already been prepared or cooked or if I just need to heat it in the oven or microwave etc. I can make/prepare simple foods such as sandwiches/wraps/crackers with sides etc as this is similar to what I have to do within the nursery at the moment as apart of the children’s tea in the late afternoon.
My Qualifications
I have my NVQ Level 2 in childcare.
I have a fully enhanced DBS on the update service and I am fully first aid trained. I also did online training for my job within safeguarding children and have an infection prevention and control (including COVID-19) certificate.
My Availability
I can do 40 hours a week Monday-Thursday or whatever days you need me but would prefer only to work 4 days a week.
The times I would work would be from 8/9am to 6-6:30pm but can do a bit later in the evening if you are behind in work.

My Fees
- Nannying from £14.00 per hour (net)
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
I would charge a reasonable rate of £12.00 per hour for babysitting and £14.00 per hour net for for the nanny side of things.
