About Me
Hello!
I am looking for a tutor for my 5 year old son.
He is diagnosed autistic and has special interests in letters, numbers, animals the list is endless. He has limited verbal communication but has a good level of understanding and can understand visual communication/modelling.
He really enjoys learning and we would love to support this interest at home.
He is in a specialist school and due to the noise levels of the classroom he does find it hard to engage and access the learning he is capable of in a calmer environment. So we would ideally like his sessions to tie into both early years and primary school curriculum.
My Requirements
We are looking for a qualified primary school teacher or an experienced primary school TA.
We need someone creative, patient and able to think outside of the box with learning. Someone who can make learning fun and is able to adapt their approach if necessary.
Experience with sen children would be useful particularly with regards to communication challenges. It doesn't require a specialist tutor necessarily.
