My Requirements

Looking for a Nanny to take care of our girls aged 6 & 9. Start date would ideally be 4th of September. We are looking for someone to care for the girls 1-4 days a week, after school from 3:20-6:30. Or we can do a 17:30 - 20:00 shift. We are flexible on the days, but ideally at least Wednesday and Thursday. If the person would be available we may ask for full-time care over the half-terms.

We would also like like person willing to take our girls to after school activities or the playground. The candidate would need to be comfortable taking them on public transportation. The duties would include light household work in relation to the girls, grocery shopping, some errands and meal preparation for the two girls. First aid certification is a must, as is a DBS check. We are looking for someone who would be with us longer term.

We will discuss pay directly and depending on the number of hours working the pension contributions required, which we have historically paid the full 8% for the nanny. We are comfortable with gross negotiations and are used to payroll.

We have had 3 nannies over the past 8 years. Our first one was a full-time nanny with DD1 from the age of 14 months, with us for over 4 years, our second 8 months and our current one is an after school nanny who is leaving us after 3 years to move to Spain.
