Hi! My name is Mailis, I am 21 years old and studying for my Audiovisual Translation Masters at Roehampton University. I am a trustworthy and reliable person who truly cares about the well-being of children. I am French and would be happy to speak in two languages to your children if desired. I am a very creative person who loves theatre, reading, baking, and cooking.
My Experience
I find working with children very rewarding and that is why I started babysitting as soon as I could. I babysat children from 1 year old to 12 years old. After this experience, I decided to acquire a diploma for youth leaders and workers which led me to two small internships in daily care centres. There I took care of 3 to 11 years old chidren, entertained them and ensured their security and wellbeing.
My Qualifications
Academically speaking, I have a bachelor's degree in English Literature & Theatre and Drama from Aberystwyth University. Other than that, I have a French diploma for youth leaders and workers that is called BAFA (Brevet d'Aptitudes aux Fonctions de l'Animateur). Its training programme taught me to ensure the physical and mental wellbeing of children and to recognise children's different steps of development to create activities according to their age.
