I am a confident, hard working and polite person. I can work well in a group with people of any age and by myself too. I always try my best and put 100% into everything I do as I like to improve my skills as much as possible. I am always punctual, well motivated and up for any challenge that is given to me in the workplace. I will be able to handle any difficult challenges if needed as these do occur within my present workplace on certain days. Overall I am a very positive person and will always try my best. I am passionate about working alongside children watching them learn and grow. I am DBS checked, paediatric first aid trained and have a level 3 qualification in childcare. My Experience
I have worked in a nursery setting for 6 years and my job role involves:
* Working within in a team to provide the best care for the children in the setting.
• Making parent partnerships within the nursery to work alongside them to help extend their children’s development.
• Creating a variety of activities and setting up the playroom in all areas of the room to make learning more fun for all the children.
• Working alongside children with SEN or behaviour that challenges to input different strategies to provide extra support for those children.
• Being a key worker/key person for the children to further their development by creating next steps and doing daily observations on my key group.
• Used to work with EYFS which has now changed to Development matters to keep track on the children’s development.
• Working in a shift pattern and on a rota to make sure we stay in the correct ratios for the children and their age group.
• Filling in paperwork such as accident/medicine forms, learning and development summaries, two year check forms etc.
• I have worked with a variety of ages ranging from 6 months – 4 years old
I have also done some babysitting for a variety of families.
