Qualifications & Experience

I am an Ofsted-registered Childminder ( For further info I am on the list which Warwickshire County Council make available online ) and I am DBS-checked with full training in paediatric first aid and safeguarding. As a qualified Art Teacher and with 15 years of experience in educational and pastoral care roles, I have worked with children ranging between the ages of 5 and 16. Most recently I have been working as a Pastoral Tutor at Warwickshire College.

Throughout my career I have supported individuals and groups with wide ranging needs, including time as a teaching assistant in a specialist school for those with challenging behavioural issues. I have experience with Autism Spectrum Condition, ADHD, Dyslexia and mental health needs.


About Me

I live with my partner Denver and our four year old son on Trinity Mead, where we have a garden for outdoor play alongside the many local parks on offer. We are already part of the Bridgetown community as our son has been attending Pre-school and will be starting Reception in the Autumn.

I enjoy caring for young people, ensuring that their physical, emotional and developmental needs are met whilst under my wing. I have a friendly, nurturing and calm approach with children, allowing them to express themselves, whilst feeling encouraged and supported.

I have a behaviour policy that I can talk children through if needs be. This ensures that all the children in my care can enjoy a constructive environment at all times.

I love outdoor activities, including gardening, growing raspberries with my son, walks to the park, picnics, football, bug-catching and chalking. My son and I enjoy crafts - we recently made bunting and a flag for the Jubilee and have been creating dinosaur pictures with leaves and other found-objects. We often find ourselves baking – our favourite is lemon drizzle cake. We love animals and visiting farms but currently don’t have any pets.


What I Offer

Safe, welcoming environment for children to relax, do home-work, play in the garden, visit the park/ playing field with us, join in with arts and crafts or make use of our plethora of toys and games.

Catering for year one upwards, weekday wrap-around child care with drop-off and pick-up from Bridgetown School. This will be based at my home, 10 minutes walk away from the school.

Hours offered (flexible if requirements stretch beyond these times);
7:30am until drop-off
Pick-up until 6pm.
Up to four children at a time (so a minimum adult to child ratio of 1:4)

Photos, updates and school-feedback will be provided to parents so that you’re always in the know and don’t miss out!

Fees
£5 per hour

My Availability

I am currently available from 7.30am until school drop of and from pick up until 6.30pm. I have the potential to be flexible so please feel free to discuss this with me

My Fees

• Childminding from £5.00 per hour

Fees include snacks such as toast and Cereal. Again I can be flexible and will of course provide for any allergies. Please feel free to discuss this with me.
