My Requirements

Required: Self employed support with planning, organisation, housekeeping and childcare.

Part time role regular hours (3 x 8 hour shifts per week) to support a highly independent autistic woman who is completing their PhD, and a fun and energetic autistic boy, age 9.

Rates of pay £8.00- £10.00 per hour

.Role responsibilities:

Organising and planning, daily household tasks, cooking and meal preparation, errands, shopping and cleaning, childcare and trips out, support with therapy and monitoring mental health, supporting and accompaniment of work trips and in other professional capacities, help manage sensory needs and daily structure and routine, - no personal care or intimate work.

Requirements:

Understanding or willingness to learn about autism beyond a medical diagnosis
Full DBS check for adults and children / or happy to undertake one.
Good level of fitness
Right to work in the UK
Excellent written and spoken English
Confident working with children
Amazing memory, planning and organization skills
Extremely reliable and committed
Confident manner
Can cope with rapidly changing circumstances and cope well in challenging situations
** Competent cleaner who can undertake housekeeping independently.
Happy to undertake different aspects of work as the role requires.
**I would say this role would suit someone with experience of working as an autism personal assistant, or with professional experience / qualifications / or an interest in things like social work, mental health practice, teaching, but I am really open to discussing the role with anyone who think they can do the job.**

Job anticipated to begin October, but asap for the right candidate.
