I am an undergraduate sociology student at The University of Glasgow looking for part time work around my studies.I would describe myself as friendly, easygoing, creative, patient and responsible! I enjoy being around children; people often tell me I am a natural and that’ll I'll end up being a teacher! My hobbies include running, travelling, the great outdoors, swimming and vintage shopping!
My Experience
In my gap year, while living at home I looked after a 5 year old boy 3x a week for six months. My duties included encouraging creative projects and play, as well as cooking meals. I frequently babysit and day time child care with families that live near me when at home, and whom rely on me frequently! I have also worked for fidgety feet, a dance company for young children, which involved looking after children in a dance class. My previous experience has enabled me to feel confident and at ease looking after young children.
