My Experience
I babysat for a family that had a little girl who was just over a year old when I started, 5 when I moved on. She was the only child in the house, but on occasion her half sibling who was a fair few years older would stay over, so I would look after them both at times.
Some of my duties included :-
- Morning routine (wake up, breakfast, teeth cleaning & change clothes)
- Full days
- Playing games/entertaining/days out/learning
- Nursery drop offs/pick ups
- Emergency babysitting
Growing up I would also look after family members children if I was asked to. I chose childcare as an option back in school, and passed it with a certificate. As part of it I also got to do a weeks work experience in a year 2 class at a local primary school.
My Qualifications
Early years development certificate from school. This taught us how a child progresses in the early stages of life.
My Availability
I currently am between jobs at the moment so I have a completely free schedule.
