Hello I’m Nicola!
I am 31 years old, I’m married to my husband Paul. We have been together for 11 years and we have a daughter who’s just turned 1 and Paul has 2 older children.
I love the quiet ‘mum’ life! I love going for walks with my daughter, splashing in puddles with her, taking her to baby classes and soft play. I even love just going to coffee shops with her and enjoying a wee coffee and her a babychino! There’s no greater joy!
I don’t get much time to myself anymore (but that’s the way I want it) but when I do I love going for meals with friends, spending time with family and trying to keep fit… but I do love cake and chocolate far too much to have abs unfortunately!
I’m gentle, patient, caring and approachable. I’m friendly and have a ‘happy go lucky’ kind of attitude towards life. My glass is always half full, never half empty and I always try to see the good out of every situation. Positivity in life is key.
I am available Monday to Friday, I can do school drop off and pick up. I’m more than happy to look after little ones not of school age during the day. Im happy to do lots of crafty play with your children, take them to the park, out for walks and wee trips to local free and paid classes etc. I’m also more than happy to prepare evening meals and do general house duties or pick up groceries from the supermarket for you! Anything to help ease the load, I’d really love to help.
I’m also more than happy to cook meals for your children so they are all sorted and settled upon your return from work - however I will only offer nutritious well balanced meals cooked from scratch.
Please note I do not currently drive! Id like to add I am happy to discuss a slightly less rate of pay per hour, as I would prefer to have my own daughter with me. Please rest assured that whilst your children are in my care, I will love, respect and treat them just as I would my own daughter.
I also am not registered with a nanny agency so you will NOT be able to claim tax free childcare.

My Experience
I have recently become a first time mum to my little girl Casey, she has just turned 1! I’m also a step mum to 2 children aged 15 and 13, I have been in their lives since the oldest was 5 and the youngest was 2.
After dedicating an amazing 14 year career to the beauty industry, after my maternity leave I realised it no longer fitted in with my new ‘family’ life. So I applied for a position at a local private nursery where I have worked at for just over 7 months. I have now left employment at this nursery but I’d very much like to stay working with children.
As well as having my own daughter and step children, I have lots of nieces and nephews who’s lives I am heavily involved in, as well as being very hands on with all of my friends babies and children.

My Qualifications
Not currently qualified to SVQ level but I do have lots of experience and I have completed many courses. I have also recently completed the Core skills and knowledge course as recommended by Ofsted.
