About Me
We are a family of five: K is six and wonderfully unique. He has a severe learning disability and communicates using simple Makaton sign language. He loves listening to music, spinning bowls and cuddles. I is four and imaginative and fun-loving. They have a big sis who lives in the USA, is 17 and stays occasionally.
We are a loving family, who balance working, raising our beautiful kids, and self-care. We are looking for childcare to help us with this balance.
We are looking for after school help two nights a week, roughly from 3.30pm-8.30pm (timings somewhat flexible) to be with our kids, offer them gentle activities to unwind after school/nursery, give them dinner, and get them ready for bed. Mondays and Wednesdays work best, but we are flexible.
We are looking for and support on a Saturday morning (timings flexible, but for example 8am-12pm). We'd be looking for someone to take them out, or stay home and do activities.
We are open to whoever works with our kids, bringing their own child/children depending on age and circumstances - let's have a discussion.
We are really committed to open communication and fostering a positive two way relationship.
The most important thing to us is that whoever is looking after our kids is passionate about what they do, and that they enjoy their time spent with our kids.
