About Me

I am a second year midwifery student taking a year out from my studies. I am a punctual, caring individual with a strong belief that every child is different and therefore requires a different approach when being cared for. I am flexible, and have availability for last minute babysitting. I can communicate well, and like to spend the time getting to know both the parents/guardians and child to have an understanding of their needs.

My Experience

As mentioned above, I am in my second year of midwifery training, this has provided me with the skills and knowledge to care and support the well being of newborns. I am confident in my understanding of a newborns needs, and factors such as safe sleeping, feeding etc. Although I am new to this, I have experience baby sitting for family and friends, whether this be newborns (both day and night) or various ages up until the age of 8.

My Qualifications

As I am only just starting, I am still currently in the process of gaining my childminding and first aid qualifications- I have however had training as part of my degree in BLS and newborn life support so hold a basic understanding. I also have a NCFE Level 2 Cache award in Child Development and care.
