About Me
I'm a 26 year old female who has worked or helped with children since i was 11. i live with my partner and my dog , i love animals and music and Disney! i love to build relationships with the families i work with. I believe my personality is a big about me, I am easy to get on with, confident, approachable, empathetic, socialable and a reliable person. I am easy going and except people for who they are not what they are or what they have done. I enjoy meeting people. i believe that a persons/childs individuality is something that should be praised and encouraged.
My Experience
I've worked with all ages from new borns to 16 years old. many of the children i look/looked after i still have contact with as i believe the children i look after become part of my family. I've looked after children with behaviour needs and emotional needs, i practice therapeutic parenting but will also follow the parenting style of the family i work with. I've facilitated actives such as painting or cooking or days out to like the park, farm visits or socialising groups such as mothers and toddlers, i have experience picking up from school bathing feeding changing nappies and clothing, reading stories playing games and puzzles while also teaching such as while reading a book with a 5 year old getting them to sound phonics out and asking for examples and making it fun.

My Availability
i currently work school pick up and evenings for a family but have some spare time in the mornings or after 7/8pm if needed to work evenings. i have my own car and car seats so can do school drop off or breakfast club drop off if needed. i work from 2 in the afternoon on mondays, Wednesday and fridays so i am available first thing in the morning till then. but i am happy to sit and work something out with the family.
