About Me
Hi, I am 27 and recently moved to Nuneaton, Warwickshire. I am currently studying part-time
at university and am due to complete my course this summer.
I would love to apply for the job role as a private nanny because I feel I would take on this
job really well and thoroughly enjoy it.
I am instinctively very patient, gentle and kind, and my work experience has also allowed me to develop my knowledge and skills in childcare. Children quickly feel safe and comfortable around me because I am very calm and attentive.
I enjoy finding fun activities to encourage and support children’s natural development
including messy play, arts, crafts and games. I also have a keen interest in wildlife, which I
love to involve in childcare by taking children for walks to enjoy fresh air, sunshine and
experience nature.
I am comfortable with all the responsibilities of caring for children, and their safety and well-being is my top priority. I understand the importance of communicating well with parents to ensure I am always meeting their expectations and requirements for the care of their children and be as much help as possible. I am also very happy to assist with housework, including cleaning and cooking.
The experience of being involved in the early stages of a child’s life, building a caring
relationship with them, watching them learn, grow and develop their personalities and
sense of self is a very special privilege to me, which is why I am hoping to start a new job as
a nanny.
My Experience
I have worked in nurseries for over 6 years as a childcare practitioner/childcare assistant. I
have always loved caring for young children, and it is a very natural role for me. I have also
helped parents with at-home childcare both during the day and evenings with whom I am
very happy to provide contact details, if you would like a reference from them.
Most of my experience has been caring for babies and toddlers, and I have also cared for my niece and nephew (now ages 3 and 6 years) since they were newborns.
