My Experience

I am a qualified primary school teacher with seven years of teaching experience, including four years as a class teacher and three years working in early years education such as nursery and pre-school. I have taught children across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, and I plan engaging, well-structured lessons that help children build strong foundations in reading, writing and maths. I use practical, hands-on activities and small-group teaching to make learning enjoyable and accessible for all children.

Supporting children’s wellbeing is just as important to me as their academic progress. I work hard to create a calm, positive learning environment where children feel safe, valued and confident to explore, ask questions and try new things. I have experience supporting children with additional needs and adapting learning to suit different abilities. I believe strong relationships with parents are key, and I communicate openly to ensure children feel supported both at home and at school. My aim is for every child to feel happy, included and proud of their learning.

My Qualifications

BA Honours Degree in Primary Education (Ages 3-11) with QTS and EYTS. Grade: 1:1 (First).

Access to higher education in Primary Education specialising in English. Grade: Distinction.

Level 3 Nursery Practitioner (Apprenticeship) Grade: Pass.
