About Me
I am an operations manager working at the University of Nottingham. I live in Borrowash near Derby with my son Reuben who is 16 and has Downs Syndrome. I have also two children who are away at university most of the time.
My Requirements
Reuben attends Bennerley Fields School near Ilkeston and has been going to a lovely childminder for after-school care during term time. Very sadly, her circumstances have changed and she is no longer going to offer after-school care. So, I am looking for a new childminder for Reuben in the Borrowash/Spondon area. You don't need special needs experience just a patient manner and sense of fun. (Think 7 year old in a 16 year-old's body and you've got the gist!). Reuben really likes being around small children and is very caring. He also enjoys music, games, dancing, singing, playing the piano, Starwars and Wii games or similar.
