About Me
Hi, I'm Laura, I have a two year old daughter and our second daughter is due in early May. We are looking for someone to help us after the birth from mid-May to mid-July (two months)
My Requirements
Hours: 8am-12 noon (4 hours), 4-5 days per week (days flexible) to help with:
Looking after the newborn baby and putting her down for her nap
Cleaning - we have a weekly cleaner so this is not heavy cleaning but we have a toddler so things do get messy! e.g. loading dishwasher, washing up our daughter's bowl and cup, wiping surfaces, sweeping floor, putting toys away, we would also like help with changing bed sheets, putting on washing and hanging this up to dry as needed.
Sterilising bottles and pumping equipment.
Food prep - cooking a family meal for us to have for lunch / dinner - we can get recipe boxes or very happy for your suggestions if you're a keen cook
Occasional help with our older daughter e.g. getting her dressed for nursery
Availability to work occasionally overnight to help with the newborn would be a bonus but not essential.
Please let us know:
i) your experience with newborns especially if you have experience establishing routines with feeding and naps.
ii) would you be happy to help with cooking and cleaning? I realise this is not a typical babysitter / nanny duty but it is really important for us - we can adjust pay to reflect this.
iii) your pay expectations, we are flexible for the right person.
