About Me
Hi, my name is Elle and I am a fun, energetic, nurturing person. I am 21 years old but despite my young age I have plenty of experience within childcare. I am a very family orientated individual and have played a huge role in my niece and nephews lives by having so much involvement with their upbringing. I have always had a passion for childcare since a young age and have followed this dream throughout high school up until now.
My Experience
I first started to gain experience within childcare back in high school when I attended work experience at a local nursery. Fast forward 5 years and I now work in that exact nursery as an employee not just a high school student for work experience. During high school I worked at a creche that catered for children from the ages of 3 months- 12 years and I absolutely loved that job with a passion. I then finished sixth form and went on to work in the children’s hospital with severely ill children in critical condition in intensive care which brought out my most nurturing, loving and caring side to me. I then went to work at the women’s hospital where I was a maternity assistant and assisted with antenatal care, assisting the midwives through the women’s birth and the postnatal care of both mother and baby. Fast forward to now, I currently work in a nursery as a nursery assistant but about to start my apprenticeship to gain further qualifications to what I already have. In my current role I am based in baby room but have experience of children from 0-5.
