About Me
Hello,
We are a family of four living in Battersea, London and we are looking for an au pair to help look after our two children, Willow (4) and Ned (2 in July) from mid August 2025. I (Poppy) studied French and can speak to a relatively high standard.
We live in a beautiful home, located between the vibrant Northcote Road, which has lots of lovely cafes and independent shops and Wandsworth Common, which has two playgrounds, a cafe and a pretty lake.
Willow is currently at nursery 4.5 days a week close to our home and Ned is at home with me and our current au pair.
You would have your own double room and bathroom, which we wouldn’t charge you rent for. In exchange we would ask that you babysit for up to 2 x evenings per week.

My Requirements
We are looking for someone to work between 25 - 30 hours per week @ £17 p/h + babysitting. We would like the person to have had experience looking after children previously. We would like the person to be fun, engaging, loving, kind and caring to our children. The person would also need to be responsible and organised.
The role would entail: playing with the kids, taking them out to the park, classes, organising playdates, cooking meals for them, carrying out the bathtime and bed time routines, occasional drop off and collection from school and some light housekeeping duties such as: keeping the playroom and kids’ bedrooms clean and tidy, emptying the dishwasher, putting on washing and taking it out the washing machine, taking bins out and keeping all communal areas clean and tidy.
Please note that we have a housekeeper who comes to the house twice a week to do cleaning and ironing, so you wouldn’t be expected to do this.
We travel quite a lot and there would be the opportunity to come with us on two foreign holidays per year.
