About Me

Hi, I'm Blessing!

I'm currently a Learning Support Assistant studying for an MSc in Psychology, with the goal of becoming an Educational Psychologist. Working with children isn't just my career, it's something I'm genuinely passionate about, and I love helping them grow in confidence and develop new skills.

Over the past five years, I've worked as a nanny, babysitter, and tutor, caring for children aged 4 months to 15 years across Bath, Bristol, London, and Spain. These experiences have taught me that every child is unique, so I always adapt my approach to suit their individual needs.

I pride myself on creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel happy and encouraged to be themselves. Whether it's imaginative play, outdoor adventures, homework support, school runs, bedtime routines, or simply being a dependable extra pair of hands, I always give 100%.

I'm currently available for full-time, part-time, tutoring, mother's help, and ad-hoc childcare roles. Whether you're looking for long-term support or occasional care, I'll treat your children with the same patience, warmth, and attention I'd want for my own family.
I'd love to hear from you and see how I can support your family.

My Experience

I have over 5 years of nannying experience across Bath, Bristol, London, and Spain, caring for children aged 6 months to 15 years in ad-hoc, part-time, and full-time roles.

During my time in Spain, I worked as both a nanny and within an International British School, supporting children aged 10 months to 7 years. Alongside working in Reception, I also spent time with the Psychology Department, observing therapy sessions, providing one-to-one learning support, and assisting with the implementation of EHCPs. This gave me valuable early experience supporting children with additional needs.

I've also accompanied a repeat family on multiple trips abroad, reflecting the strong relationships and trust I've built with the families I work with.

Alongside nannying, I've worked in a nursery and volunteered as a Youth Worker with children aged 11–14, giving me experience across a wide range of ages and developmental stages.

My responsibilities have included:

- School and nursery drop-offs/pick-ups
- Planning fun, educational activities and outings
- Homework and tutoring support
- Meal preparation
- Bath and bedtime routines
- Light child-related household duties
- Supporting routines, emotional wellbeing, and age-appropriate development

My Qualifications

International Child Certificate (Madrid, Spain)

NSPCC Trained (UK)

First Aid Trained (UK and Spain)

DBS Checked (UK and Spain)

Child Protection for International Schools (TES)

Risk Prevention in Workplaces (Quirónprevención, Spain)

Concepts of Emergency Plans (Quirónprevención, Spain)

I am currently pursuing my Masters in Psychology to help me towards my Doctorate!

My Availability

I'm currently studying for an MSc in Psychology, which is delivered entirely online, allowing me to be highly flexible with my schedule. I plan my studies around the needs of the families I work with, so they don't interfere with my availability or commitment to your children.

I understand that every family has different routines and demands, and I always aim to make life easier by being adaptable wherever possible. If you're looking for someone who can become a consistent, long-term part of your family's routine, I'd love to be that person.
