*Currently looking for morning roles whether it be drop off or babysitting/nannying as well as late-afternoon and evening roles*
My name is Blessing and I recently graduated from the University of Bath in Education with Psychology. I have been nannying/babysitting for 2 years and a half now and have had the privilege to work with children in Bath, Bristol, London and Spain!
I’d say I’m well rounded when it comes to caring for children. All my experiences have helped me learn ways to give children the best care they need and ways to make it fun and exciting for them. Being able to work with so many also allows me to see into their world and ways they can also teach me!
I am currently learning Spanish at the moment! So it would be great if I could be paired with a Spanish speaking family who may also want an English speaking nanny - but this isn’t a requirement!
My Experience
I have nannied in Bath, Bristol, London and Spain working with kids aged 6 months up until 15 and have been doing so for 3+. This has been a mixture of ad-hoc, part-time and full-time nannying. I have also nannied abroad in Spain during my placement year and accompanied a repeat family twice abroad.
Whilst in Spain, I worked in an International British Private School with children aged 10 months up until 7 years old. I had one student who was based in Reception and worked with them mainly alongside the Psychology Department. I assisted and observed in therapy, one-to-one learning and their ECHP plan. This student had additional needs and I was able to acquire surface level training from this experience.
I have worked in a nursery before and volunteered as a Youth Worker alongside that with children aged 11-14.
In all my experiences, I have had responsibilities of attending classes, trips out, pick-ups, drop-offs, meal-prep, bath time, bed time, light house chores like washing up after the child(ren) has/have eaten and extra-curricular activities.

My Availability
When it comes to spending time with your family, I make sure that your children are my primary priority. I have a completely free timetable as I plan to match with a family I can work with long-term and nanny for a while. I don’t have any other commitments so I would solely be nannying.

My Fees
- Nannying from £16.00 per hour (net)
- Babysitting from £15.50 per hour
My rates will vary significantly based on the hours I am required; for example, If I am required overnight, I will charge a higher rate than for the after-school run. I will also charge for any extra time I spend outside of the agreed-upon hours, but only at the hourly rate agreed upon prior to my arrival. I will not require money for travel but if I am unable to get a direct bus,train to you then we may need to discuss travel fees.
I add £2 for every other child.
