About Me
I have just graduated from Edge Hill Univeristy with a First Classification in Early Childhood Studies and I have a Level 1 and 2 in Safeguarding children. Moreover, I have just completed my Level 3 paediatric training and have a enhanced DBS. I have always had a passion for working with children which has stemmed from many years of looking after my nieces and nephews.
I am very energetic and love being outside, I also play the guitar and piano and have for many years and believe that music can help creativity and inspire individuals.
My Experience
I have worked as a nursery assistant for six months before university where I worked with children for ages 3-7. I have also had experience looking after nieces and nephews from newborn to my oldest niece who is now 7. In addition to this I have voulnteered with the National Youth Service as an independent visitor with a young person in care. In this role I was caring out an activity or a visit one to one with a young person helping them with their needs and personal growth.
My Qualifications
I have an OCR Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care. CPD certificate in safeguarding children Level 1 and 2. A Degree in Early Childhood Studies at a first classification and have completed modules such as Early Years Pedagogy, Early Years Speaclism, Children's Cultural Worlds and Working with Young Children and Families. I also have an enhanced DBS.
