My Requirements
We require occasional overnight childcare for our two teenage children (ages 13 and 15) when I'm travelling for work - every few weeks, sometimes for a day or two at a time. Both kids are very independent / self sufficient. They are at school nearby and get themselves there and back. We need a responsible adult to stay with them from around 5 or 6pm until 8.30am the next morning: cook them an evening meal, make sure they do homework and get to bed at a sensible time, get them up the next morning (they can get themselves breakfast with a little encouragement!), and see that they leave the house on time. Would suit someone who has a good rapport with teenagers but also effective at enforcing (sometimes unpopular) rules. Very little actual work to do (other than prepping the evening meal), so plenty of free time in the evenings and completely free during the day. Main requirement is to make sure they are both kept safe and on the straight and narrow!
