About Me
I have always loved working with children and supporting families. I studied health and social care at levels 2 and 3 to get a deeper understanding of the development of children, and how I can positively impact and accommodate children’s growth emotionally and physically. I am very creative and enjoy making fun activities for children of all ages. I am very passionate about outdoor play as I understand how fundamental this is to the development of gross motor skills. I am also first aid trained which I believe is a core skill when looking after children, as I think we should be as best prepared for any event. I am a caring and attentive individual who has the best interest of children and their families.
My Experience
I have worked with a family with 3 children ages 1 year, 7 years, and 10 years old. I have worked with them for the past 2 years doing adhoc evening and weekend sessions. I prepare meals, do activities/homework with the children, and local outings. I do the normal bedtime routine and assisted with sleeping training with the youngest child. In addition, I have recently worked with a 6 month old supporting the mother with baby led weaning , and sleep training. I take the baby out for walks and baby classes.
