About Me

I have been involved with childcare my whole life as my mother is a registered childcare professional, so helping care for and contributing to children’s development has become second nature to me from a very early age. I would describe myself as a very gregarious and fun loving nanny with a calm approach when it comes to all aspects of childcare.I am very keen on keeping active, my amain sport is football after playing to regional level and I will always be the first to say yes to a kick around in the garden with the children. I also play tennis,hockey and swim however I would happily get into any sport thrown my way especially if a child has a passion for it. I have been really fortunate to have been brought up in the Cotswolds with dogs so it goes without saying that I really enjoy nature and the outdoors and love to incorporate this wherever possible. My philosophy is that all children should be able to fully express themselves so try to combine a child’s passions with educational goals in order to in-still a real love of learning that seems almost passive. I pride myself in creating strong routines with a range of extra curricula activities and outings but also feel it is important to have flexibility within schedules for children to have autonomy wherever possible. I have looked after children from the ages of 1 - 15 years with a range of abilities including ASC experience. I’ve most recently worked with HNW families where discretion is essential and maintaining a high level of professionalism while still being friendly and approachable is in my opinion the key to a successful placement.
