My Requirements

We are looking for a nanny housekeeper to help out 3 hours a day 5 days a week (ideally 5-8pm). The role involves on the one hand looking after our son after he finishes nursery and, on the other, helping us at home to keep the apartment tidy and have things under control (we have a wonderful cleaner so only some light cleaning is required).

Duties might include, depending on the day:
A) for our son:
- picking him up from nursery (a 10 minute walk from home)
- giving him dinner
- bathing him and preparing him for the night
- playing with him
- washing his clothes
B) for our home:
- tidying up (going daily through each room and checking that everything is in order and there are no things lying around)
- helping prepare some basic food for the week (i.e. steaming vegetables)
- watering plants
- emptying the washing machine, folding clothes
- emptying the dishwasher and putting things away
- occasional light grocery shopping in local shops

Our son is a happy and active little boy and will start nursery in January.

The ideal candidate would be someone who loves kids but is also practical around the house and takes initiative.

Start date: second or third week of January (to be discussed).

Fluent in English, Italian is a plus.

Right to work in the UK.
