My Experience
I have experience within an early years setting, which I was at for 8 months before leaving the apprenticeship to attend college. During my time at the nursery, I was able to undergo Safeguarding training, paediatric first aid training and food hygiene and allergy awareness training. I assisted with planning activties and carrying out intimate care routines such as nappy changing. I also have experience babysitting, which I mainly do for family friends on an evening/weekend ranging from 8 months old to 11 years old. At the moment, I work part time for a holiday provision (HAF programme) for children between the ages of 4-16 where I lead group activities and also complete admin for. The children that I work with are all unique and different - I have experience working with SEND, EAL and refugee children. During my days off college, I volunteer at a local primary school.
My Qualifications
I have 7 GCSE’s and I am currently in my first year at college completing CACHE Level 3 in Children and Education (Early Years Educator).
My Availability
Weekend/Evening/Part time.
I will need to be given at least 2 weeks notice and will then confirm whether I am able to help.
