About Me
My name is Calum and I’m a qualified Primary school teacher looking to offer tutoring sessions.
I’m currently a class teacher for Glasgow City Council, I’m prepared to offer tutoring for Primary level pupils across the whole curriculum from numeracy and literacy, to topic lessons and expressive arts.
My Experience
As well as being a qualified Primary teacher, I have years of experience working in other fields that allow me to provide proper support to a variety of learners.
I spent years living and working as an English language instructor in South Korea. Thanks to this, I am very familiar with using a wide range of topics to improve a learners English level, while keeping the lessons interesting and varied.
I’ve also spent some time as a care worker, assisting young people with a range of additional needs.
Secondary English:
I have a degree in Scottish Literature and Language from the University of Glasgow. I have previously helped secondary pupils prepare for both the reading and writing sections of their exams.
My Qualifications
I’m a qualified primary school teacher with a PGDE in primary education. I also have a TEFL qualification from my time teaching English in Korea.
My Availability
I’m available for lessons from Monday - Thursday 4PM - 6PM.
Weekend lessons and times outside of the above are also available subject to discussion.
