Hi there my name is Donna and I am an Early Years Practitioner for Edinburgh Council. I am also a Mum to my son Lennox who is 15yrs old.
I love the outdoors and enjoy spending the majority of my time in the nursery garden growing vegetables with the children. In my spare time I tend my own allotment too. As part of my role I also lead Forest Kindergarten. As well as loving the outdoors I am also happy to curl up and read a book, play with Lego and playdough.
My Experience
I have worked in education for over 10yrs. I have a mixed working history of working in mainstream school, an autism base within a primary school then a special needs school. My current position is within Edinburgh council as an Early Years Practitioner working with children aged 3-5. I have an Honours degree in Early Years, Pediatric First Aid, Forest Kindergarten certificate and I am continually pushing myself to learn more which benefits the children.
