My name's Sophie. I am a highly motivated and hardworking individual. I hold a level 4 in childcare and education and am currently studying childhood and youth studies degree at the UEA. I have completed my 7 GCSEs and A-levels and plan to work in the childcare sector. I have previously worked in a 0-2 baby room at Chestnut Nursery, covering different rooms. Before starting university, I was a teaching assistant in reception to year two classes. I am eager to learn and develop personal skills in a practical setting. I love working with children and watching them develop and grow. I would love to be a live-in nanny once I finish my degree, as this is my next natural progression step after being a nursery practitioner before doing my PGCE to become a teacher. I currently nanny part-time for two families and babysit for several more. But I'm looking for a more permanent role for my new qualifications. I love watching children grow and develop and creating professional relationships with parents. My most recent venture was being a live-in au pair in Cannes for six weeks over the summer, looking after a 4-year-old boy and occasionally babysitting his 8-month-old sister.
My Experience
I have experience with 0-10 years through baby sitting, working in a nursery in the baby room and being a year 1 and 2 teaching assistant
Last summer I was a full time nanny to 2 boys, so I have lots of experience in the nannying role, prepping and serving food, tidying and putting the children to bed. I currently Nanny for two families part time. And over the summer I worked as an AuPair for a French family in cannes for six weeks.
My Qualifications
I have my GCES in English, maths, science, food, photography and geography.
I have a level 3 qualification in childcare and education
I have a level 2 sports leadership qualification

Sophie took care of my two girls, 2 and 1 years old, just for a couple of hours and I came home to happy faces which was lovely. I would hire her again.
