About Me
Mum to 2 year old fraternal twins, a boy and a girl who are very playful, loving and full of joy. We live in the DN2 area. We like to get out with the twins when possible, taking them to the park, the woods, swimming and play areas amongst other things. They love being outside, no matter what the weather.
Both myself and my husband work for the emergency services and do shifts.
We can provide our requested hours 3 months plus in advance generally as we both have a set rota.
My Requirements
Myself and my husband do shift work in the emergency services, so do not follow a set "Monday to Friday" pattern.
As a minimum we will be needing childcare for at least 2 to 3 days per month (approx 15 to 20 hours per child) - but this would be sporadic due to our shifts, not at the same days and times each week.
We will then be looking to up the hours in line with government hours (15 in April then 30 in September). We would be looking to spread the government hours across the year quite evenly - I.e. 1 full day a week from April, then 2 full days in September. There will also be occasions outside of this that we will want to put them in for additional hours. But again, this would be planned in advance.
It is very important to us that our twins are supported emotionally and comforted when upset rather than left to cry.
I would say we have a gentle parenting style. Our toddlers are very happy and inquisitive, they love exploring and trying new activities, we like to encourage them to find out what they're capable of. We would love to find a childminder/childcare that provides a fun loving and nurturing environment.
The earliest drop off we would need would be 0730 and latest collection 1800.
Happy with Mon to Fri availability, but if weekends are available then thats a bonus.
