My Summary

My Experience

I have gained 16 years of experience within the child care sector, working overseas and with in the uk. I have worked in children’s clubs overseas, working with children from 1 year old to 16. Teaching children how to sail, swim and also indoor based activities. I have worked as a private nanny looking after different aged children one on one or in small groups out in the French alps. Activities ranged from sledging, snow man building to crafts and painting. I have worked in the uk as a nursery practioner, soon working my way up to head of preschool and then moving to an ofsted excellent rated sought after nursery in Leeds. I’m currently a head of the 1/2 year old group in a curiosity approach Reggio Emilia style nursery. I have gained a lot of experience and knowledge to become the next Mary poppins!. I have many ideas up my sleeve to provide any child with a fun week, week after week of activities and outings that support development in all areas of the Early years foundation stage. For example, home made story baskets, full of creative ideas to create a love for early literature, nature walks, bringing back natural resources to use as mark making tools to develop muscle strength for pre writing skills and trips to the park to encourage gross motor development.


I have continued to update my education through joining Erasmus. Erasmus is a study trip overseas where I share current information on the curriculum we use in the uk and obtain information on the curriculums in different countries by taking part in conferences overseas and visiting different nurseries and schools in different cities.

NCFE CACHE Level 3 diploma in specialist support for teaching and learning in schools
