About Me
I have a great deal of experience in SEN and have have looked after upwards of 50 children between the ages of 18 months and 10 years old with additional needs. I am constantly willing to learn and adjust to your needs.
I'm 21 and have been looking after children since I was 16, starting with girlguiding in Manchester and doing evening babysitting jobs, and then starting my apprenticeship in Care Chiefs Children's Day Nursery in Manchester.
I am passionate about helping other people, and really enjoy learning about new studies on child development.
My Experience
I earnt my Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in childcare and started at age 17 at Care Chiefs Children's Day Nursery doing an apprenticeship. I worked at Care Chiefs for 3 and a half years before moving down to Burgess Hill.
I became Customer Care at Burgess Hill McDonald's and mainly focused on customers who were families, helping them to have as nice and relaxing time as possible.
I was in Girlguiding as a Brownie leader in training when I was 16, and became a leader when I turned 18, staying until July 2021 as I was moving to Burgess Hill and that was the end of the year for Brownies.
I was an evening babysitter for a family for 2 years as and when they needed me as well, and one of them was neurodivergent and required additional help that the family trained me on doing.
My Qualifications
Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in childcare, pediatric first aid, IT, English and Maths to Level 2.
My Availability
Monday to Thursday evenings from 7pm till 9pm, Friday evening and overnight, Saturday full day to overnight and Sunday morning to 9pm.
