Hello, my name is Katie and I’m 19 years old. I’ve just began my degree in education at uni of york and have just finished a year as a SEMH teaching assistant in an alternative education provision. I’m looking to become a teacher and would love to gain knowledge around children. I have previously worked with children at the children’s museum Eureka, so I have experience with a wide age range of children and trained for various situations. I am fun and bubbly whilst remaining mature and sensible. I can cook and have a range of fun activities up my sleeve. Thank you for considering my application.
My Experience
As previously stated, I have just finished a year in a SEMH school working as a teaching assistant. In this job I provided 1-1 teaching to children with SEMH needs whilst also occasionally teaching small groups of children. Through this I have gained a large array of skills and knowledge in teaching.I also previously worked at the children’s museum meaning I have have wide range of experience regarding things from comforting lost children to setting up arts and crafts.
My Qualifications
I have 3 alevels (ABB) and 11 gcse from 6-7 (A-B) level.

I will fully know my availability once I begin my degree and have my timetable.
