About Me
I am 25 years old and originally from Surrey. I relocated to the Midlands to study a degree in French & German from the University of Warwick, also going on to complete a Masters in French and a PGCE. I am a qualified secondary school teacher, and also a qualified dance teacher through the ISTD. I now live in Stratford upon Avon and am working part-time as an MFL teacher whilst working on setting up my own dance school.
My Experience
I have been babysitting for over 10 years and have worked with children for as long as I can remember. I used to do a lot of daytime childminding during the school holidays, and have experience with newborns through to teenagers, as well as children with SEND requirements. I qualified as a dance teacher when I was 17 years old, and have been teaching dance to children of all ages ever since. I have worked as a teacher in both primary and secondary schools, and have QTS (qualified teacher status) through the DfE.
My Qualifications
- Diploma in Dance Instruction (ISTD)
- 10 GCSEs A*-A
- A-Levels in History, Psychology, French, German
- BA in French & German (University of Warwick)
- MA for Research in French & Francophone Studies (University of Warwick)
- PGCE in Secondary School Teaching (University of Warwick)
Full DBS check; clean driving license (held for 7 years); first-aid experience
My Availability
My availability can vary based on the week in question. I tend to have more availability during the daytime than in the evening, but please do always ask, as I may be able to accommodate more times if necessary.
