About Me
I’m 64 and have 3 children
And 3 young grandchildren (twins ) who I’ve looked after since birth.
I’ve worked in schools for over 20 years as a level 3 teaching assistant in Early years.
I have a lot of experience to help any family with childcare. I am energetic, very active for my age and love children.
My Experience
I’ve worked in a nursery with children from age 6 weeks - 6 years. I then moved into schools and have worked as a 1.1 support for children with special needs, then a teaching assistant in Early years for approximately 20 years. I absolutely loved my job.
I then stopped working in school to look after my 1st granddaughter from 9 months onwards until school age. I’ve also then helped to looked after her twin siblings from birth until the present day . They have cystic Fibrosis so I’ve delivered physiotherapy to help their lungs.
Overall, I have a lot of experience and would love to support another family
My Qualifications
I have level 3 childcare NVQ. I also have special educational needs certificate.
My Availability
I would like to be flexible if possible and only offer my services on 1-2 days per week
