About Me
Hi! I’m Catie, a 24 year old Special Needs teaching assistant from South west London who’s just moved to Waltham Abbey. I have had a career in childcare and education for over 7 years, and have baby sat children for even longer. I have a lot of experience working in Nurseries, particularly with pre school age children, and have always taken special interest in caring for those with additional needs. I have seizure specific first aid training through work and experience dealing with a range of complex needs. However I am more than happy to work with and care for all types of children! I am confident in preparing meals and have an up to date food safety certificate, and love to include the children in my care with as much of this as possible! I am happy to provide help with homework, reading books, and generally just have fun playing, creating or chilling out! I look forward to hearing from you!
My Experience
I have experience with children from 3 months up to 11 years. I began my career in childcare working in Nurseries, and worked my way up to becoming a Preschool room leader and SendCo at my last nursery setting. I now work at a Special Needs Primary School as a teaching assistant. I began babysitting around 10 years ago so have lots of experience!

Paediatric First Aid Trained, BTEC level 2 Health and Social Care, Children and Young peoples Workforce level 2, Food Safety, SEND Diploma, Team Teach Trained
