About Me
Hello everyone, I am a Cirencester based nanny looking for term time employment while at University. I am comfortable working with a number of children at a variety of ages. I think that developing a bond with the children is the most important part of childcare-having fun while still completing the tasks at hand!
My past roles have included activities with the children, schoolwork help, bath-time and bedtime routines, school drop off and pickup and general household duties, as well as general pet care.
I have experience with children age 1-15, as well as children with a wide range of disabilities. I have primarily worked as a nanny within families but also have experience in schools, both during the school day and after hours.
A main factor for me is getting the right balance of discipline and responsibility and having a fun and exciting time with the children. This is vital as you want your child to grow up having had the best childhood they could possibly have and putting fun into the hard things such as homework and bath time (which can seem like such a hard task!) can be put into an easier and more fun perspective for the child.
I am in my third year at the royal agricultural university studying rural land management. In my spare time I enjoying swimming and reading. I have my full drivers license and my own car.

My Experience
I am originally from Cheshire but moved to Dubai two years ago, where I took a variety of childcare roles. I primarily did after school and bedtime, as well as light housework. While in the U.K. I was a brownie leader for two years, taking the girls to sleep-away camps and leading all sorts of fun activities! While there I also became first aid trained and was DBS checked. I was also part of a programme tutoring underprivileged children ages 4-11 for 18 months in maths and English.
My Qualifications
Brownies- 2019-2021- setting up and leading a variety of activities covering a range of skills. Accompanying the children on sleep-away camps. This experience taught me the important skill of patience, as well as an understanding and caring attitude and being able to work as a team.
Learning point- 2018-2019- focussing on educational skills and activities. Conducting assessments and giving the children tailored support to help them thrive as much as possible. This was a very rewarding placement as I saw the children really develop in confidence and intelligence, as well as being able to form a bond with them!
