I am a level 3 Nursery Nurse. I have 8+ years experience and enjoy working within childcare and am happy to engage and create activities to occupy the time as I’m a very creative person and enjoy exploring a variety of activities that can incorporate levels of play and development.
My Experience
I started in childcare as a volunteer for St John Ambulance training badgers and cadets ( 5 - 11yrs) in first aid. I achieved my first aid training; trainer training, out and about training and worked as a health care professional within multi-disciplinary teams to the public to provide first aid medical care. I then went on to achieve my level 3 health and social care diploma and began working within childcare settings. I have worked within the NCS -National Citizen Service- a youth program devoted to supporting and equipping young people with life skills before entering the employment or university cultures. I was responsible for a group of 18 16yrs-17yrs and creating and delivering a program of social and life skills to aid their journey. I have worked within school wrap arounds and composed activities to support ages 3-14. I completed a year of paediatric nurse training with Cardiff University before choosing a career in Childcare development and working full time in a successful award winning nursery.

I am available Monday - Thursday any time as I work weekends in a Children’s Hopsital as part of the therapeutic play team.
