My Experience
My last nannying job I worked in Kensington looking after a girl aged 2 and her brother aged 4. This was a live-in job which I learned so much from and even joined the family on their Christmas trip to Ireland and easter holidays up north.
I have previously worked in a private nursery with children aged 8 months to 5 years, however, I was based within the toddler room. During this job, I found my love for watching children explore the world around them. This led to my decision to study at university which gave me experience working with children in nursery, year 2 and year 6. Alongside my studies, I started to nanny part-time for a wonderful family in Richmond. After building strong relationships with all the children (g12, g9, b7 and g1) over a year, I was invited on their family holiday in Greece to support the parents with childcare.
I enjoy anything creative from finger painting, baking and cooking (using my A Level in Food technology) to games and sports as a keen advocate of high-quality Physical Education (degree specialism). I am a keen traveller having visited many European countries for skiing, family breaks and school trips as well as travelling the USA.
I have recently come back from a summer spent at a summer camp in the Berkshire Hills, New York working with girls aged 5-8 as a group leader for 7 weeks. My vast experience with different ages has enabled me to become confident working with all ages with varied challenges.
