I have over 6 years of experience working with children and young people, as a learning support assistant in schools and as a live in and live out Nanny.
I am compassionate, adaptable and hardworking with a focus on inclusive practice. Eager to break down the barriers to learning for all pupils in relation to the 5 areas of need, in the classroom and beyond.
My specialism is in special educational needs, I have deep knowledge of Autism, ADHD and other learning difficulties after writing my dissertation in my degree on the topic of Autism.
I am looking for babysitting/ weekend work.
My Experience
Since graduating with a first class degree in Childhood and Youth studies, I have worked in schools as a learning support assistant. More recently, I have worked as a nanny as both live in and live out roles.
My live in nanny role, caring after two children aged 4 (diagnosed with Autism) and 6 years old.
My most recent nanny role was a live out role looking after a 15 month old baby.
Within the nanny jobs I completed normal duties such as preparing and taking children to school, school pick up, preparing healthy meals, supervising completing homework, taking children to play dates/ extracurricular activities, organising days out such as swimming and to museums and parks. Also, I have assisted families on holiday trips.
My Qualifications
Childhood and Youth Studies BA Hons - First Class Honours (UOG, 2016-2019).
3 A-Levels (Havering Sixth Form College, 2013-2015).
13 A*- C GCSEs (Marshalls Park School, 2007-2012).
My Availability
Flexible to work hours/days required by the family for weekdays and weekends.
