My Experience
During my gap year in 2020 I worked as an unqualified nursery assistant in my hometown, Oxford. I worked with children from the ages of 1 to 5. Working with children requires plenty of patience, kindness, empathy, and fun spirit. These are all qualities which I believe I possess.
On a typical day at the nursery, I would play games with the children, read stories, change nappies and assist children with creative activities. I would also help them through their daily tasks such as, tidying up, meal times and nap times.
