My Experience

Relevant work experience:

1. Au pair (2023-present): I am soon to travel to America and spend a year as an au pair with a family in New York. As this is a live in position, I intend to be immersed into the family lifestyle and play a pivotal role in the children’s safety and personal development. I will also be responsible for practical elements, such as driving the children, laundry and other household duties.
2.Nanny (2021): As a nanny, my job entails providing a range of services for a family. As I have a driving license, I have been responsible for picking up/ dropping off the children to school, clubs and other responsibilities. Once home, I arrange an array of activities for the children, regardless of the weather or allocated time. I also believe in helping around the house for the parents, whether that be cooking, cleaning or any agreed roles.
3. Classroom Assistant (2017 and 2018): During my periods of work experience at a local Primary School, I was allocated to a variety of year groups and was responsible for assisting in their learning within the classroom. This experience also helped me gain an insight into the Health and Safety regulations around Safeguarding within a school environment, which is something that was put into practice on school trips and other time spent outside the classroom.
4. Girl Guides Rainbow Unit helper (2016-2018): Within my role at the Rainbow Unit, I was responsible for providing a safe and welcoming environment for the girls. As I was often the person to greet/ dismiss them, I was able to build a healthy and communicative relationship with parents/ carers. During our time together, the staff would provide activities for the girls based on fundamental skills and tools they need to aid their personal development.

Poulton-Lee Theatre School (since January 2016) – LAMDA Grade 4 Group Exam (Distinction) and LAMDA Grade 3 Solo Exam (Distinction)

I’m September 2024 I will return from my time in New York and be available for full time work and childcare.

My Fees

• Nannying from £12.50 per hour (gross)
