About Me
I am 22 years old and love working in childcare. Seeing children develop and knowing that I have made a difference in their lives makes me so happy. Since leaving sixth form, I have always wanted to become a nanny but Covid hit and there wasn't any opportunities due to restrictions. Now I feel more confident as I have more experience and ready to try something new. On Friday evenings, I volunteer at my local scout group, making up a programme with my team and giving the children new experiences with others their age.
My Experience
I have gained 5 years of childcare, mainly working in a nursery but have also worked in primary schools and in Australia. For the past 3 years, I have been working with children 0-2 years and carried out planning, catering for their individual needs and preparing them when transitioning to a new room.
My Qualifications
I have a Level 3 qualification in childcare through studying the NCFE CACHE Level 3, Childcare and Education, with the Early Years Educator status. I also hold a valid first aid qualification, an up to date DBS and completed my safeguarding courses.
