About Me
Hi, I'm Abi, I live in Rugby and have a full driving license and car. Currently I am a trainee teacher in a primary school, I have experience of living with children at a summer camp with some experience with ADHD. I am seeking adhoc baby sitting jobs in the evening/weekends. I love hiking and being outdoors whenever I can, I play the drums and enjoy being with my dogs. I am so excited to meet your family!
My Experience
I lived with 6-8 years old at a summer camp for 4 weeks and then 10-12 years old children for a further 4 weeks. Two of the girls in the cabin were twins and one had ADHD in each age group. The classes I taught were mixed abilities and ages which ranged from 6-17. I have an 9 year old brother that I home schooled during covid and have experience due to living with him from such a young age, I even taught him how to ride his bike and regularly took him swimming. I have looked after friends and families children, including a 1 year old to looking after a relatives two children (6&8) who I had never met before but quickly build a bond with them.
My Qualifications
I have an enhanced DBS. I have a police check certificate due to working and living with children abroad. At University, I studied English Literature and Philosophy with one module in Spanish. At Camp, I undertook a course for archery and gained a certification to be able to teach, alongside that I am Grade 3 at Drums.
My Availability
I am available mostly on weekends, due to being a trainee teacher therefore this would fit around that.
