About Me

I am a 28 year old nanny/babysitter and primary school teacher. I am originally from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, but have been living in Edinburgh for over a year now. I love the outdoors and come from a background of hiking, skiing, trail running, cycling, kayaking, etc. I love to cook and read in my free time.

My Experience

I have 7 years experience working in professional childcare settings, and 4 previous years of experience working as a nanny. In my first few years of University, I worked as a Summer Camp Leader for Aspen Hill Montessori Preschool, and then became nursery/pre-school staff for them during the school year. After that, I was a nanny to 3 children, all under the age of 8, for 4 years while I worked on my Teaching Qualification. Additionally, I spent the past 4 years working as a Student Teacher for various primary schools in Canada and have worked with students from a variety of backgrounds and additional health needs. This past year I have been working as a Primary School teacher in East Lothian.
